Spain helps Vietnam reduce poverty
The second phase of the 1.33 million-euro (1.97 million USD) project “Application of Territorial Based Rural Development Approach” received an additional 988,000 euros (1.4 million USD) from the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development.
The project aims to support local residents in the two provinces to develop economy, infrastructure and culture. The first phase of the project, worth 346,000 euros (461,000 USD), was carried out in northern Quang Ninh in 2007-2008./.
